sm

STEP 0

Pre-sort your recyclables at home to speed up your visit. Explore the materials page or download a list for details on each category to simplify the sorting process.

Ensure containers are emptied and drained. Rinse or wash out any food or milk residue. All items should be reasonably clean and dry, free of dirt and food debris.

Gordon’s Book Nook

Gordon’s Book Nook, named in memory of Gordon MacKay, is a free library located in the southeast corner of the recycling center. We have hardcovers and paperbacks in a wide variety of topics. You may take books to read and return, or keep for your personal collection. Books that are outdated or damaged are cut up and shipped off to be recycled into other things.

If you have a large collection of books that need to be handled, e-mail the director of operations at information@prokansasrecycling.org for special instructions.
